Howard J. Sartori, P.E.

Mr. Howard Sartori has more than 25 years of military, government, international, and commercial experience. He accepted early retirement from ARCO Oil and Gas Company in 1985. Since then, he served as Director, Information Technology for the Naval Sea Systems Command and the Director, Navy Internet Technology. He played important roles in several national and international telecommunications standards organizations as a State Department delegate to the Geneva Conventions.  He was recalled to active duty in 1996 as the Director of Internet Technology for the U.S. Navy in the Pentagon. The professional consulting practice traces its history to 1978, when telecommunications services were first offered to Dallas firms.

Clients include Atlantic Richfield Company; Departments of Navy, Commerce, and Labor; EPA; Alyeska Pipeline; Smithsonian Institue; Lyondell Chemical Worldwide; ARCO Indonesia; ARCO Alyeska; American Association of Retired Persons; University of Wyoming; Burleson, Pate and Gibson Law Offices; Riley & Artabane; Weir & Partners LLC; Bode and Beckmann LLC; Morgan Meguire LLC; Southern California Edison; and the U.S. Fund for the National Botanic Garden.

Mr. Sartori holds a Texas Professional Engineer license. He is a Naval Engineer, with the rank of Captain, USNR. He was awarded Presidential Legion of Merit and two Meritorious Service Medals for U. S. Navy CAD/CAM and Internet technology achievements, and the Federal Agency Award, 1995. Memberships include Who's Who Worldwide, Order of the Engineer, and American Society of Naval Engineers.

Mr. Sartori successfully implements information systems built on the cornerstones of standards, appropriate technology and business systems engineering, with critical attention to the details of systems integration. The results are improved productivity and lower operating costs over the life cycle of the system.
